I bought my house a year ago and didn't get their service last year. I regret my decision. So I hired them for this year and cannot believe the difference it has made in my weed filled lawn, "BEFORE" It looks 100% better with new grass growing all over the place! Great service and price!!!

Missed several large spots, including a 3'x4' area in the corner. Was told they'd come out to finish the job. Never did. Called back again and was told not to worry about it because we weren't charged the hourly rate it would have taken to cut those areas (really?). Then charged more than quoted. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but do yourself a favor and go with a different lawn service.

Rays Lawncare (owned by Ken Svboda) did some excellent work building beautiful retaining walls several years ago at my residence. On 3-14-15 he came to my place for a bid to do some borders, a small retaining wall, and an area for container pots. I received his proposal on 4-1, called and accepted the proposal on 4-2 and Ken stated he would get me on the schedule for mid-April after he received my signed proposal which I mailed the next day. Starting mid-April I started leaving messages at both his work and cell numbers. I never received a call back which has required me now to scramble to find another landscaping company during the busiest part of their season. I recently found out that others have had this same unprofessional treatment. I gave a 1 star rating only because there was no option for a zero rating.

We used Rays for 2-3 years to mow our lawn. My husband called last week, asking them to mow this week, they didn't show up, so he calls and asks why didn't you guys show up, well they did, at the wrong house...after coming for about 3 years, they went and mowed the wrong lawn. My husband asked if they could at least come out the next day, The lady who answered the phone said...if they have time, and are in the neighborhood, was the reply....are you kidding me, it's not like we live in York, and it was their mistake. So My husband called again, and the same lady, said it most likely would be in a few days, meaning next Wed, my husband said remove me from the list, and she said okay. No wanting to make it right for us, no We'll mow the next couple of times for free...what kind of Customer Service and the lady who answers the phone...I guess she doesn't care if Ray's loses customers! Maybe Ray's doesn't need the business...pity...not a Way to do Business! So disappointed!
