Global Ties Nebraska, formerly the Lincoln Council for International Visitors (LCIV), works with the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) to facilitate interactions between Citizen Diplomats in Lincoln and selected global leaders from various fields and endeavors. Through arranging professional meetings, cultural excursions, and globally-minded community events, and by providing opportunities for Dinner Diplomats to host these global leaders in their homes for dinner, Global Ties Nebraska works to advance their mission of "promoting global understanding through citizen diplomacy in Lincoln, Nebraska.
