For more than 50 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln (BBBSL) has operated under the belief that inherent in every young person is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. The Big Brothers Big Sisters' vision is for all youth to achieve their full potential. To fulfill that vision, the mission of BBBS is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. BBBS Lincoln is part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands (BBBSM) network. As a donor and volunteer supported organization, BBBSM is committed to defending the potential of youth in the Lincoln and Omaha/Council Bluffs metro areas, spanning across nine counties in Nebraska and Iowa.
