We would love to connect in person!
Adam Waggoner and I are headed to Vegas May 15-17th for the ABC Kids Expo. If you or someone from your team are going to be there, let's schedule some in-person meeting time. We are looking for brands in the Toys, Kids & Baby category who need help with Prime eligibility, shipping cost for big-&-bulky items, and marketplace expansion. Brands who want to take their marketplace ecommerce business to the next level. If that sounds like it could be valuable to your brand, send me a message.

🌷 Happy Mother's Day from all of us at Spreetail! 🌷 Today, we celebrate the incredible influence of mothers in our lives and the values they instill in us. Our kids are always watching, learning more from what we do than what we say. On this special day, we're proud to share a heartwarming video featuring one of our very own team members, Lacey Hoffman, and her son, Judah. Lacey was recently a presenter at our All Hands Meeting and spent some time rehearsing in front of her family at home to prepare for the big stage. Her son, Judah, felt inspired and wanted to give a speech of his own. He took a bit of his mom’s script to start and then launched into a speech on his true passion: the Titanic. It goes without saying, the next generation is always watching. We’re proud of the legacy all Spreetailers are building and the impacts we’re making in our homes and in our communities. This Mother's Day, we recognize and thank all moms, inside and outside of Spreetail, for their unparalleled love, wisdom, and resilience. Your influence shapes generations. 💖 #MothersDay #Values #WeAreSpreetail

"internet- shminernet" - Jeff Bezos In 1999, when this interview was conducted, 'the internet' was the big new thing every growth company was trying to align with. Similar to AI right now. It would have been easy for Jeff to say "We are the future of internet shopping." But he didn't. And by constantly refocusing on Amazon’s mission to be “Earth’s most customer-centric company”, Amazon survived the .com bubble burst and continues to exponentially grow 25 years later. Similar to Amazon, focus on providing the best experience to our marketplace customers and the best services to our brand partners has led us beyond the digital side of things. Spreetail was born on the internet, but a large part of our company is physical. Importing. Warehousing. Reverse Logistics. We work backwards from our vision statement: "Propelling brands to increase their ecommerce market share across the globe while improving their operational costs." Investing in the physical side of our operations is a large part of that. It matters WHAT you are doing more than WHERE you are doing it.

As a growing percentage of shopping shifts to ecommerce, retailers are understanding that the most valuable real estate in the world is.... inside your home. Amazon pioneered this approach with Echo devices and Amazon Prime Streaming -- now it's Walmart's turn. In February, Walmart acquired the tech and TV brand, Vizio. Now, just this past month, they've announced a partnership with Roblox to turn shopping virtual. If you're unfamiliar with the popular online game, Roblox has: - 70.2 million daily active users - 49.29% of daily active users are based in the US, Canada or Europe - 16.04 billion hours of user engagement reported in Q3 of 2023 - 17-24-year old user base is the fastest growing age demographic on the platform (representing 35% year-over-year growth in Q1 2023) This partnership creates a one-stop shop for players who will be able to buy real-life items from Walmart within the platform itself. Why is this interesting? If shopping is happening in digital spaces, strategic retailers have to identify WHERE the target audience is spending time, and then make it easy to shop from there. https://lnkd.in/g7_57UvG

It takes time, resources, and money to launch a brand new SKU on Amazon. The big question becomes, how long before profits begin to materialize? Here’s what experts say to expect: - 3 months: This is when the investment cost will be at its highest. During this time, brands should focus on working aggressively to get noticed by both the algorithm and buyers. - 3-6 months: SKUs should be optimized for profitability and the goal is to push for profit. This may entail decreasing spend on traffic while raising the price to get past the breakeven point. Read more about these timelines and other strategies you can initiate to ensure your next SKU launch is profitable. https://lnkd.in/e_RNtFdR

Fast delivery and competitive pricing shouldn’t be exclusive to U.S-based customers. If you're not bringing that same experience across the border, you could be missing out on 10% growth.
