With the cold weather approaching, it's important to prioritize safety when working outside. Here are a few tips to help you stay warm while on the job: - Layer up: Wear multiple layers of clothing to trap warmth close to your body. Start with a moisture-wicking base layer, add a middle insulating layer, and finish with a wind-resistant outer layer. - Prioritize your hands and feet. Wear wool socks and insulated boots. Always wear gloves, and include a liner, if possible. Use pocket or hand warmers, for added warmth. - Keep moving if you're outside, and take frequent breaks to warm up. If possible, schedule indoor tasks or rotate shifts to limit exposure to the cold. - Stay fueled, as your body will use extra energy to stay warm. Consume a hot drink or lunch. - Keeping your clothes dry is essential. Bring extra clothes, in the event that your clothes get wet. Things are looking great at the Hampton/Home2 in Aurora, CO. Currently, we’re hanging drywall on the lower floors, elevators are going vertical, and finishes are in progress on the upper floor. On the exterior, the façade is nearing completion. This project is a 5-story, 227 room, dual-brand hotel with over 130,000 square feet! Its proximity to the Fitzsimons innovation community, home to the Rocky Mountain VA, University of Colorado Hospital, Children’s Hospital, and more makes it a great addition to the neighborhood. The project is NGC’s first in the Denver Metro Area, with an anticipated completion date of late Spring 2023. #BuildingTheFuture #CommercialConstruction #Hospitality
