The Homebuyers Privacy Protection Act (H.R. 7297/S. 3502) would curb the sale of consumers' information by credit reporting agencies when they apply for a mortgage. These "trigger leads" flood prospective homebuyers with phone calls, emails and texts. Thank you to Sens. Fischer and Ricketts and Rep. Bacon and Flood for cosponsoring and supporting data privacy!
