Were you there? 👀 The Women in Business Lincoln Chamber of Commerce event brought us together to celebrate, empower and amplify female leaders and entrepreneurs who are making their mark in Lincoln and beyond. Firespring was proud to be a presenting sponsor. Our team had a blast networking and learning from this year’s inspirational panel and keynote speaker, Kindra Hall Keynote Speaking. We can’t wait for next year! 🙌

As part of the first Firespring Do It Now Day, our team members jumped on the opportunity to lend a helping hand. Teams from each of our offices tested out their mechanic skills and after some team-building fun, a little bit of frustration and some safety checks from Lincoln Bike Kitchen, we put together 30 bikes to donate to CEDARS, LINCOLN BIKE KITCHEN, Cultural Centers of Lincoln, Asian Community & Cultural Center and Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln! 👩🔧🚲👨🔧

If you don’t know our mission, let us spell it out for you! 📸 We couldn’t be #PoweredByPurpose without partnering with organizations like the National Association of Education Foundations that exist to create robust educational opportunities for all students. We had fun snapping photos and visiting with so many amazing foundation leaders at our booth at the ImpactEd Conference this month!

It’s not every day a phone call turns into a meaningful connection, but today is one of those days. ☎️ We had the honor of welcoming Chris Heisler, President and Founder of The Honor Network, to Firespring. He is in Lincoln to pay tribute to the life of Ceresco Police Officer Ross Bartlett with the revered United States Honor Flag. Heisler’s search for a print shop to produce a sign explaining the flag’s importance led him to make a phone call to Firespring, and we couldn't be prouder to support this significant initiative. During his visit he took the time to join our daily all-team meeting where he shared The Honor Network's mission of honoring America's fallen heroes nationwide. Our VP of IT and Army Veteran, Jeff Murphy, had the privilege of presenting the flag and receiving a pair of ceremonial gloves. Firespring's Print Project Coordinator, Claire Maly, whose father is an Air Force Veteran worked closely with Chris on the sign and experienced the honor of holding the flag. Today reminded us of the tremendous sacrifices made by our military and their families. Thank you, Chris and The Honor Network, for trusting Firespring with this impactful project. 🇺🇸
