🍃“Spring”ing to life! 🍽️ Thanks to our green-thumbed staff and volunteers, the CSS Lincoln Community Garden has woken up from its winter slumber. Earlier this week, Food Market Assistant Susan Kelly harvested the season's first crop of spinach and lettuce to #nourish our food market shoppers! It's so exciting (and rewarding) to #grow #HopeintheGoodLife. 💚🧡💙 #FoodMarketFriday

🥰 Mother's Day is a beautiful opportunity to ensure ALL moms feel loved and supported on their motherhood journey. This past Monday, CSS Lincoln staff members gathered in our classroom for a team service project. We packaged (and decorated!) sweet little gift bags for all the moms in our St. Gianna Program. It was wonderful to step away from our usual duties and perform a small act of #HopeintheGoodLife service together. 💚🧡💙

🥳We’re celebrating 3️⃣ #TeamworkTuesday blessings today! Thanks to three incredible donations by Sandhills Global, our offices in Auburn and Hastings are better equipped to serve their communities and make a positive #impact.💪 💚CSS AUBURN: A shiny new FREEZER donated by Sandhills Global DOUBLES our storage capacity, allowing smarter ordering and the ability to purchase and store frozen items when cheapest (or free!) It also means we can provide more choices to our southeastern Nebraska neighbors by offering a wider variety of frozen foods. 💙CSS HASTINGS: A new FORKLIFT donated by Sandhills Global replaced an older, bulky unit that constantly needed repair. This new model is smaller and more maneuverable in our warehouse, where we bale clothes for our #sustainability efforts. A PALLET JACK donated by Sandhills Global helps our team and hard-working volunteers with our food recovery program. Last fiscal year, this program distributed 200 tons (yes, TONS!) of surplus food across southcentral and southwestern Nebraska, so this equipment will be put to good (and constant) use. Thank you, Sandhills Global, for your generous support. Using teamwork, we’re making a #HopeintheGoodLife difference for the neighbors we serve together.🤗
