Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) lending to skilled nursing facilities is expected to increase in 2024. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) proposed a minimum staffing proposal late last year with providers and other stakeholders, receiving over 46,000 comments on the proposal.
