April is National Volunteer Month, and we’re proud of our employees who volunteer all year round — like the volunteer team in Arkansas who tackled outdoor service projects at the Magdalene Serenity House. We provided a grant to this transitional home for women in 2023, for energy efficiency improvement projects for a second home on the property they are currently renovating. Once completed, it that will allow them to expand the support they provide to their residents. This is a great example of the ways our employees love to volunteer. Thank you to these Arkansas team members — and all our employees who donate their time and energy — for giving back to our communities. #NationalVolunteerMonth #volunteer

We recently partnered with the City of Seward, Nebraska to bring a temporary liquified natural gas (LNG) holding station to the city’s industrial area in an effort to bolster the system and support rapid industrial growth. “Black Hills Energy demonstrated a true commitment to Seward by offering an innovative solution to an immediate natural gas capacity issue. Your resolve to bring the LNG site to Seward went a long way to restore faith from local businesses in Seward’s ability to support growth and I truly appreciate your partnership on this project,” Jonathon Jank, Seward County Chamber & Development Partnership executive director said. Although relatively common in other parts of the country, LNG is not widely used within the Black Hills Energy footprint. The Seward LNG station is the first in Nebraska, joining two other sites in Iowa. #Partnership #LiquidNaturalGas #Growth
